Aminatou Haidar on her way to city of El Aaiun and Polisario Front considers that victory of legality

Madrid, Dec 17, 2009 (SPS) - about twelve, past ten, Ms Aminatou Haidar, aboard from Lanzarote airport towards the city of El Aaiun accompanied by her sister, Laila, and her doctor.

Ms. Aminatou Haidar, before arriving at the airport of Lanzarote considered this event as a “victory for justice, human rights and for the Saharawi people.”

She said she would not cut off the hunger strike launched 32 days ago, before her arrival to Laayoune, her home and her family,”

The Polisario Front considered this as a victory of the Saharwi cause and the international legality in Western Sahara”

The Polisario hoped through its Secretary General, Mohamed AbdalAziz, that this to be a beginning of a new turn in order to create atmosphere of negotiations lead towards the achievement of ultimate solution to the issue of the western Sahara.
